Fertility Treatments In India

Ovulation Cycle Tracking

For 1 in 6 couples, falling pregnant can take longer than expected. If you are looking for options to conceive naturally, a good first step is bulk billed ovulation cycle tracking at the fertility clinic.

Ovulation cycle tracking is a simple process that can help you identify which days you’re most fertile. This will help you plan when to have sex to give you the best chance of conception.

It doesn’t require a consultation with a fertility specialist or any fertility treatments or medicines and is more accurate than the home ovulation predication kits.

Ovulation Induction (OI)

oi-iuiOvulation Induction is a simple process which encourages your ovaries to release eggs, so you maximize your chance of conception through intercourse or artificial insemination (IUI). It suits women who are producing low levels of hormones for ovulation, or who are not ovulating at all.  The provision of medication is given to stimulate the hormones.

The process involves:

  • Taking blood samples to measure hormone levels at specific stages of your cycle,

•             Carrying out a trans-vaginal ultrasound to see the development of follicles in the ovaries, and the thickness and appearance of the lining of the womb.

Artificial Insemination (IUI)

inseminationArtificial insemination or Inter-uterine Insemination (IUI) is sometimes recommended as a simpler and more affordable starting point for fertility treatment. If you undergo more than three unsuccessful IUI attempts, we’d usually recommend starting a more complex IVF treatment.

If you or your partner has been diagnosed with unexplained infertility, hostile cervical mucus, minor sperm abnormalities or other male disorders, IUI is sometimes a successful option. It can also be used when semen has been frozen due to a husband’s absence or before chemotherapy or radiotherapy.

IVF Treatment

game-of-ivfIn Vitro Fertilization (IVF) can be used to overcome a range of fertility issues, including sperm antibodies, endometriosis, and unexplained infertility. For many couples, it gives them the best chance of having a baby.

At Myra IVF, the treatment is coordinated the fertility specialist who is supported by an experienced team of nurses, counselors and scientists. We understand the significance of having a family and can assure you that we will provide you with the utmost fertility care.

ICSI Treatment

ICSIIntracytoplasmic Sperm Injection (ICSI) is performed as an additional part of an IVF treatment cycle where a single sperm is injected into each egg to assist fertilization using very fine micro-manipulation equipment.

As the human egg is one tenth of a millimeter in diameter and the sperm 100 times smaller, this is a very delicate procedure performed by highly skilled embryologists under a microscope.

Frozen Embryo Transfer (FET)

embryoAny additional embryos created from an IVF cycle can be frozen and stored for future use. These embryos can then be thawed and transferred if more than one treatment cycle is needed.

Any excess healthy embryos from the IVF process can be frozen, in case more than one treatment cycle is needed. Freezing embryos, also known as cryopreservation, takes place for some 60% of all patients having IVF treatment – and Frozen Embryo Transfers accounts for around 50% of all IVF births in our program.

Fertility Surgery

Surgery may be required to further investigate or treat situations making it difficult for you to conceive such as endometriosis or fibroids for women, or to surgically retrieve sperm. Following your initial testing and assessment, you may need to have surgery. This could be to further investigate the cause of infertility for you or your partner, or to overcome the problems making it difficult for you to conceive.

Digital High Magnification

smz-dishA technique, for men with severely reduced levels of sperm morphology, which allows the laboratory to digitally enlarge images of the sperm and select the most appropriate sperm to be injected into the egg.

We have developed a methodology that allows the laboratory to enlarge the images of sperm to over 7300x magnification using high resolution, high magnification digital enlargement of the sperm.

The scientist then uses defined sperm sizes and shape information to select the most appropriate sperm to be injected into the egg.

This technique offers our patients in this situation a significant increase in fertilisation and pregnancy rates, and a reduction in miscarriage rate.
